Bruce Moghtader

Bruce is passionate about education. His particular passion is to help reorient education’s focus so that it creates enthusiastic active learners rather than resistant passive recipients. His academic background is in developmental psychology and counselling. He is currently a graduate student at the faculty of Education at UBC, studying Human Development. His volunteered and paid work includes Big Brothers of Vancouver, Vancouver Aquarium, Simon Fraser University, Immigrant Service Society of BC, Violence is Preventable, and Engaged Philosophical Inquiry (philosophy with children) at UBC. He enjoys activities such as soccer, volleyball, badminton as well as high-fiving and laughing with others. He is excited about Think Fun Camp!
